Each Wednesday night in August, 4 dark alt. Bands will battle it out at the Sando Hotel to see who gets voted to play at the “Local Legends” nights during Under the Blue Moon Festival

Meat Safe formed in December 2007 due to an open slot on a New Year’s Eve bill and because it popped into JoSh’s head after Nathan wouldn’t put his God damned boots on when they were going to the Enmore Theatre because he’d just swallowed a fine amount of tequila. Featuring members of Sydney bands TRIANGLE, Mutgash Poison and Fodder it is a surprisingly listenable yet threatening Rock and Roll band.
