Legends” nights during Under the Blue Moon Festival

Industrial Whores
Industrial Whores began as a solo side project of
guitarist / vocalist Ziggy Diva in early 2007. Combining elements
of fast paced industrial metal with the toxicity of a unique cyber-glam
image, Pink Industrial Whores quickly drew the interest and devotion
of audiences both locally and overseas.
With a loyal following and solid sound so early in
its short existence, it wasn’t long before Pink Industrial
Whores caught the attention of local organizers seeking new upcoming
talent in the alternative music scene. One such organizer recognized
the immense potential of Pink Industrial Whores and agreed to team
up with the talented PIW manager and Ziggy Diva to bring their sound
to the world.
Plans for Pink Industrial Whores are now well
underway, with a fan-site for the Pink Industrial Army and the recording
of a single release both currently under construction. A planned
line-up change will determine the first permanent PIW members and
kick off a non-stop year of live performances in 2008 not to be
missed. Also look out for collaborations with awesome artists including
Rozenrot , SpeakrFreak And DJ HOOLIGAN.

out. However I will confess to quite liking their music. I had the
rare pleasure of witnessing a live performance some time back. I
admired their tenacity. In front of an audience of bewildered hipsters
they donned top hats and painted their faces and howled their maelstrom
of synthetic suffering into the intellectual/spiritual void known
as Melbourne, Arsetralia. I cant help but root for the underdog.

Since 1991, Melbourne underground noise band Psych Carni have tortured
audiences with confrontational gigs of mechano-eroticism. Long before
the Burlesque revival and pre the Antichrist Superstar, the bands
necro- psychedellic carnival shows assaulted punters at rock, goth

Recordings of the band were never commercially released, except
from Heartland Records who included the track Bones on a compilation
of Australian Darkwave Acts titled Dark and Starry Eyed They Were
(1995). Years of self abuse saw the band disintegrate in the late

In 2005 the band reformed for the Teknikunst Festival playing at
the Ding Dong Lounge with Curse Ov Dialect and David Thrussell.
Fetishizing cyberpunk technology and military discipline the band

Fleischmachine (DVD 2007) a guerrilla- style film performance in
a crumbling factory, includes the tracks Negative Impact,Lost and
Wanted in music video formats from the new EP, together with old
footage.
