Not only will the first ever Gothic Mass be held for Under the Blue Moon Festival on Wednesday 1st October..but it will be followed by an enchanting evening of "Swap & Sell Gothique"...Yes this is your opportunity to seek spiritual solace and second hand treasures all in one night!

The tradition of the Gothic Mass for the Goth community first occurred in Cambridge, England and St Luke’s is proud to carry on and to extend that tradition here in Sydney. St Lukes prides it self in being open and a receptive church having an outreach to various communities in our local area such as the alternative cultural & artistic communities. St Lukes has been a venue for Goth inspired functions and performances previously, for groups like medieval inspired Dandelion Wine. It is with this history and philosophy in mind, St Luke’s welcomes one and all to the Gothick Mass. Happening with this event is the “Swap & Sell Gothique” - a 2nd hand clothing swap meet of alternative clothing & unusual items. So feed the soul and cloth the body in a truly moving event.

Our very own Auctioneer and Swap Meet Co.ordinators will be there to entertain & make sure everyone gets to release their inner bat, grab a bargain and a reward!

Yes, if you have ever wanted to see the person you beat in the auction for those to die for shoes or confront the girl who outbid you on that skirt you needed for that outfit, now you can! Expect an evening of dark fun, bags of clothing and some sensuous slithering snakes on live display for cuddles! To register your interest in having clothing or items auctioned on your behalf, or having a small market stall or being involved in a swap meet section fill out the application form and Mistress Holly will contact you! And if you have a friendly snake you want to bring along for the event we'd love to hear from you also!"
