Theatre of Blood is a new late-night horror program opening at the Newtown Theatre on the 30th October. It's modeled on the cult ultra-violent horror theatre, the Grand Guignol, which ran in Paris through the first half of the twentieth century, influencing everything from the films of Boris Karloff to Hammer Horror to Sweeney Todd.

An antique horse drawn hearse leads a convoy of vintage hearses King Street, Newtown. The festival will again host Australia’s largest alternative fashion weekend including discount shopping in Australia’s best eclectic & darkly beautiful shops & stalls. Under the Blue Moon will be holding its first Photographic exhibition in conjunction with photographer a University Lecturer in Photography, who been researching the area of Dark/Alternative Portraiture for many years, and is  curating a show that features the work of Australia’s leading dark/alternative photographers.

Part of the proceeds from the coffin raffle with go towards the Cat Protection Society of who do an amazing job of taking care of our little fury friends.
